| Finish | Can be purchased finished or unfinished so you can match your door. All body backs have tape installed and are not finished the same as the front visible surfaces. Defects and/or surface repairs may be present on backs due to manufacturing and considered acceptable due to mostly out of sight when installed. Unpainted poplar bodies & handles may have front visible surface repairs present when shipped and expected to be hidden after paint finish. Unfinished poplar handles may have cutting surface imperfections expected to be mostly covered after paint finish. Oak bodies & handles are select or better and front visible surfaces may have some natural character marks, grain, color and finish variations. Light sanding may be expected for all unfinished products. When selected as unfinished, the handle come unfinished also. Body and stop bar mounting tapes may be slightly visible when installed. |

I have both the Standard and Universal model installed at my home. Both work perfectly. They are easy to use and provide the added security that we love, especially on back patio doors. No more bending down to take out a door stop! The installation process took only minutes and they have remained secure over time, even with the changing temperatures outside and the doors getting warm and cool throughout the seasons. The videos are very accurate to how the product works. Great product, I would recommend to anyone!! The Universal model is installed downward and looks and works great. It blends in very nicely with our existing door.

We have been using the door lock for about 8 months, and are loving it. It is easy to use for those you want using it. Our 2 teen-agers are able to easily operate it, but it would keep toddlers from escaping, as they would not be able to reach or operate the lock. It took a little bit to get used to it because I was so used to bending over to remove the wooden block we had been using for extra security. This is so much easier though and aesthetically looks much better . The lock looks great, blends right in, nobody even notices it. I would recommend this for any home that has a sliding door set.
